Component design includes coarse checklists that can be used by qualification personnel during the product development process. The checklists have an incufficient level of details for design engineers. Designers of well equipment will have in-house design advises. Designers of e.g. machinery on the platform, like the draw work, should also follow the advises given in the Machinery Directive.
