Guidelines
What is a guideline
A guideline describes recommended performance of a work process step-by-step.
Types
The following guidelines are available:
Project planning is the process of describing technology needs, development of the requirement specification, carrying out the tender process and the signing the contract. If there is a gap between the requirements and available technology, this process will also include the process of making the technology qualification program (TQP).
Project execution is the process from after the contract is signed to the point where the technology is ready for operational use. Qualification is an important activity during the project execution process when new technology is required. This guideline describes the entire project execution process, but has emphasis on qualification activities.
Risk analyses are important tools to reveal potential problems and to administrate the process of finding risk reducing measures. The analyses are executed during the project execution process. Risk analyses are described on a separate page due to the high number of risk analyses and the extensive process of performing each analysis.
All guidelines are supported by databases, textbooks, templates and presentations within miscellaneous topics to improve the communication between the work process responsible and experts supporting the work process.
